This is a super-heavy 2-song thrash-metal 7-inch vinyl record available in transparent red or smoke (transparent black). It’s a 45 so you can blast the speed up to 33 and really start the party. Included with the record is a card with a link to download digital copies of the music audio files. The sleeve is a full-color print with lyrics and pictures of the band in the infamous crunk basement. We recorded our first 5 song demo and this record in Peyton’s (Guitarist) basement, which is also where our “drinkin’ a beer” music video was filmed.
“This is the first song and record to be titled, Shark Castle. We looked it up!”
– Decibel magazine (Not joking)
Side A – Drinkin’ a Beer
Sibe B – Shark Castle
Drinkin a Beer is obviously a song about the movie Ernest Scared Stupid. The song had already been written about Trantor the Troll when Peyton started singing “drinkin a BEE-er” at band practice. Somehow that caught on and the song became “Drinkin’ a Beer”.
Shark Castle is a song about the ocean… It’s also about government conspiracy theories. Look around, looks safe to me.
